Sunderland earn FA Cup fourth round replay against Middlesbrough

Substitute Fraizer Campbell scored on his return after 18 months out through injury to earn Sunderland an FA Cup fourth round replay against Middlesbrough on Sunday. Barry Robson fired the visitors in front on 16 minutes, but Campbell equslied in the 59th minute.

Brighton overcame Premier League Newcastle 1-0 to secure a place in the fifth round on Saturday. Will Buckley's 76th-minute shot struck Newcastle defender Mike Williamson and looped over keeper Tim Krul.

Juan Mata's 62nd-minute penalty gave Chelsea a 1-0 win at QPR in Saturday's early kick-off, while Liverpool beat Manchester United 2-1 at Anfield thanks to substitute Dirk Kuyt's late winner.

Daniel Agger's header gave Liverpool a 21st-minute lead, only for Ji-Sung Park to equalise in the 39th minute. But Kuyt fired in on 88 minutes following Andy Carroll's flick on to secure Liverpool's place in the fifth round.

Matt Tubbs' 57th-minute goal gave League Two Crawley a 1-0 win at Championship side Hull.

Harry Redknapp's problems off the pitch got some relief on it as Tottenham saw off Watford on Friday night. Rafael Van der Vaart's 25 yard strike in the 42nd minute was enough to secure victory.

In Friday's other fourth round game, Everton came from behind to beat Fulham 2-1 at Goodison Park.

Danny Murphy gave the visitors a 14th-minute lead from the penalty spot, but Denis Stracqualursi headed an equaliser for Everton from Landon Donovan's 27th-minute cross. Marouane Fellaini secured victory for the hosts with a 73rd-minute header.
