Sutton's FA Cup dream over

Sutton United bowed out of the FA Cup today, going out 2-0 against League One opposition Notts County.

The visitors went one up when Jeff Hughes hit home a rebound from Karl Hawley's shot from just outside the six yard box.

United had a golden chance to level things up before half time, but Stuart Nelson saved Leroy Griffith's penalty.

The home side weren't overawed by their higher league opposition, but substitute Karl Murray went off for collecting two bookings and Hughes scored again in injury time.

County now face Championship side Doncaster Rovers in round three.
