Bored of fantasy football yet?

If your fantasy football team has not made the start to the season you were hoping for and you've already lost patience with it, then you may well be looking for a new challenge.

A brand new score predictions competition has launched and, if you know your stuff, you could not only pocket a few quid for yourself but also your team. is an online football predictions game that will also inject much-needed funds into football clubs, fundraising groups and grassroots projects. It is a game that is as much about the community spirit and camaraderie as it is about the £5,000 prize. is a fun game designed to test the knowledge of the competitors and it invests 30% of all stakes into the clubs and groups nominated by those playing the game, as well as providing a £500 bonus of kit, equipment or services to an organisation proposed by the winner.

Jock Waugh, a director of, explained: "This isn't just another gaming site; we were very clear from the outset that we wanted to create something different.

"In a very difficult economic environment we appreciate it is becoming increasingly harder for clubs to raise the revenue they need to be able to compete so when we evolved the concept of that was at the forefront of our minds. You've just got to pick one team to win each week, what could be simpler?

Fun or competitive

It can be as fun or as competitive as people want. The next game is always just around the corner so if things don't go to plan, you have another chance to go again. There is one big prize for the individuals but the clubs will be winning all the time." members pay £10 for a single stake and register which club or organisation they are from. Each week they make one match prediction based on a game of their choice from one of the chosen leagues - Barclays Premier League, npower Championship, npower League 1 or npower League 2.

Each person making a wrong predication is eliminated until there is JustOneStanding, who will scoop the jackpot.

Fellow director Alan Strawford added: "We believe will be a lifeline for many local youth and adult clubs in the present economic climate and the growth of the competition can only benefit the game in the years ahead."

The first round of the competition is now open and entrants have until midnight on Friday 14th October to register and submit their predictions.
