League One round-up: Yeovil sign QPR striker

Promotion chasing Yeovil have signed QPR's Columbian striker Angelo Balanta on loan until the end of this season.

The 23-year-old made his QPR debut in December 2007 and signed a professional contract soon after.

He has made 29 appearances for the Premier League club, with 17 of them as a substitute, and has scored three goals.

Balanta has also had loan spells at Wycombe and MK Dons, where he played 13 games and scored once.

Yeovil are currently just a point adrift of the play-off places and only three points behind second-placed Swindon - who appear to be keen on a loan move for Andrew Johnson.

The 32-year-old QPR striker has not played since September after suffering a knee injury, but he looks poised to return to full training.

Johnson is now unavailable to play for QPR, as he was not named in their 25-man squad in January.

Swindon are under a transfer embargo following a recent takeover and, with the loan deadline approaching, they are hoping the embargo is lifted by Thursday so they can make a move for Johnson.

Meanwhile, Coventry City's High Court hearing has been adjourned again.

City were due in court in London on Friday to face an administration order from the Ricoh Arena's landlords Arena Coventry Limited.

The dispute concerns a year of unpaid rent, totalling £1.3m.

The hearing had been adjourned until Tuesday, but the scheduled 10am start has been put back to 2pm after ACL withdrew their application to send the club into administration.
